Overview: Oxford Summer Institute

CBL International Oxford Summer Institute At Oriel College: July and August, 2012

University groups get the opportunity to study International Law, Economics & Management, International Relations, as well as Business and Legal English in a 4-week course in the famous lecture halls of Oriel College and surrounding venues at University of Oxford.

The Oxford Summer Institute is an exclusive programme jointly organized by CBL International and Oriel College, University of Oxford (UK).

Lectures & Company Visits

All lectures are conducted by recognized professors from Oriel College, the Law Faculty, as well as SAID School of Business (all University of Oxford, UK), from University of Cambridge (UK) and from selected world class universities and institutions around the world.

On top of receiving world-class lectures, you’ll have the chance to visit renowned business and law institutions, corporations, and banks to interaction with enterprise representative, lawyers, and managers. We are always adding new locations to our programmes, therefore, the actual company or institution you visit will be decided closer to the programme start date. Excursions to Famous Landmarks

The programme is not all academic, you will receive breaks in between the intense learning. During your time off, you can travel to top attractions and landmarks in the United Kingdom. Visits to and around London including a trip to the Idyllic Blenheim Palace will make for a perfectly balanced programme.

All participants of Oxford Summer Institute will participate in an exclusive visit to the city of Cambridge, the University of Cambridge, as well to the sister college of Oriel College at University of Cambridge (UK), Clare College.

Who Is The Oxford Summer Institute For?

The Oxford Summer Institute is designed for universities, law and business school groups who want to share a rewarding academic experience in an international setting with a diverse student body. Applications must be done by an university representative, such as a professor, academic consultant or programme director leading the group.

Receive Credits For Participating in Oxford Summer Institute

Not only will you receive one of the most memorable experiences in your life, every week of CBL International Oxford Summer Institute at Oriel College is equivalent to 2-3 ECTS or 1-1.5 US credits. For the 4-week session, you should receive 8-12 ECTS or 4-6 US credits from your college or university. Because regulations and policies are different for every university, please check with your study abroad or international studies department for credit availability and procedures.
